ABOUT ICST 2024
The International Joint Conference on Science and Technology (IJCST) is an annual international conference established in 2016 by a consortium of universities in Indonesia. The 8th IJCST 2024, organized by the Faculty of Engineering and Science at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jawa Timur in Surabaya, Indonesia, will take place on September 25th-26th, 2024. The IJCST presents a unique opportunity to engage in a wide spectrum of multidisciplinary knowledge, covering social sciences through the International Conference on Social Science (ICSS) and science and technology through the International Conference on Science and Technology (ICST). The theme for ICST is “Embracing Openness to Diversity for Advancing Green and Sustainable Innovation” highlights the latest research and trends, along with future perspectives in these fields. These trends and technologies are oriented towards creating a future that is environmentally sustainable, where resources are managed responsibly, and where technological developments contribute positively to the well-being of society without compromising the needs of future generations. This theme encompasses a wide range of topics, such as renewable energy technologies, sustainable materials, waste management solutions, green manufacturing processes, advanced technology and innovative approaches to environmental conservation and protection. We invite academicians, students, researchers, policymakers, industry professionals, and representatives from governmental and non-governmental organizations worldwide to participate and share their research on topics related to science, engineering and technology. The conference serves as a platform for collaborative discussions, knowledge exchange, and the advancement of innovative approaches in promoting sustainable society according to the fields of science, engineering and technology. All accepted papers that are registered and presented in the ICST 2024 will then be submitted for inclusion in IOP Conference Series and are expected to be indexed by Scopus and others.
